The Galerie de Difformité

Jackie H. had something very special to show us at the last meeting.  Her niece is a creative writer with a bent for the unusual and recently asked her aunt to create a handwoven art project for The Galerie de Difformité Jackie chose Exhibit C for her word/art defformite.  C is for, ...... bleeding through pages,

The weaving technique is Theo Moorman - and the title Jackie chose for her piece is Theo's Squares. 

Here is a close up so that you can see some of the textual aspects added to the cloth.


What an amazing project.  I found myself wandering around, lost in the galleries and wondering what kind of interpretation I might have come up with.  Food for thought!
